
Travis M. Lajoie is originally from Maine. He earned a BS degree in Medical Biology from the University of New England and a medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He also completed fellowships in addiction psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Oregon Health & Science University, respectively. He is currently the medical director of inpatient psychiatry at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He holds an adjunct assistant clinical professor appointment with the University of Utah’s Department of Psychiatry. He is also a member of the Carlat Addiction Treatment Report Editorial Board and Utah Professionals Health Program Clinical Advisory Committee. His free time is spent skiing, hiking, running, and relaxing with his partner and dogs.
