Herschel Bullen has been a member of the Utah State Bar for over fifty years. He is admitted to practice in Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Federal Claims, United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the 9th and 10th Circuits, and the United States District Court for District of Utah, May 1970. He is a former member of the Ethics Advisory Opinion Standing Committee, Utah State Bar Association, 2004 to 2021; member, Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, 1995 to present; member, Aldon J. Anderson American Inn of Court, 2010 to present. Having practiced in many areas of the law, including as a former Salt Lake County prosecutor, Mr. Bullen is presently a solo practitioner focusing on criminal defense, exclusively appellate practice in State and Federal Courts and representation of inmates before the Utah Board of Pardons and Paroles.
